All Non‑Main Quests
Side quests flesh out the world of Palia – you’ll learn about each NPC’s personality, unlock exclusive rewards, and often gain large amounts of Renown. This guide lists every known side quest (by NPC) and daily bulletin board tasks, including how to trigger them.
📌 Bulletin Board Dailies (Kilima Village)
Next to the Town Hall, there is a bulletin board that refreshes daily (4:00 UTC). It offers 3–5 simple fetch or delivery quests. These are optional but give quick gold and Renown.

💘 Romance Side Quests
After starting romance with an NPC (Friendship Lv 3 + Romance Pin), you unlock additional romantic quests at each romance level. Rewards are often unique furniture or emotes.
- Ashura – “Dinner for Two” → rewards Ashura’s Locket (wall decor).
- Reth – “Cooking Together” → rewards “Sharing Meal” emote.
- Kenyatta – “A Royal Evening” → rewards Kenyatta’s Portrait (interactive).
- Hassian – “Under the Stars” → rewards Wolf Plushie.
Romance quests are repeatable? No, each is one-time but gives large Renown (100–300).
📈 Skill‑Gated Quests (Guild Representatives)
When you reach certain skill levels, the corresponding guild NPC will offer a special quest. These are often about crafting a master-level item.
- Gardening Lv 10: Badruu asks you to craft a Seed Maker → reward +10 Gardening Coins.
- Fishing Lv 10: Einar wants a Palium Rod → reward Fisherman’s outfit.
- Mining Lv 10: Hodari requests 10 Palium Ore → reward Miner’s Helmet glider skin.
- Furniture Lv 10: Tish wants a Palium Mirror → reward “Master Crafter” apron.
🕵️ Hidden Trigger Quests (Exploration)
- “Mysterious Chest” – Open a locked chest in the Bahari ruins (requires 3 gears found around the map). Reward: 200 Renown, rare furniture.
- “The Watcher’s Note” – Find 5 hidden notes in Kilima (locations: inn roof, tree hollow, well). Reward: “Conspiracy Theorist” title.
- “Ancient Technology” – Insert 3 power cells into the machine near the Temple of Roots. Reward: Ancient Hoe upgrade.
⚠️ Important Trigger Notes
- Time of day: Some quests only appear during specific hours (e.g., “Night Watch” quest from Ashura appears after 20:00).
- Weather: Rain‑exclusive quests (e.g., “Snail Trail” from Auni) require rainy weather.
