Getting the Rare Stuff
Some resources are locked behind specific conditions – time of day, location, tool level, or even weather. This guide explains exactly how to obtain the most sought‑after ores, fish, and seeds.
⛏️ Rare Ores (Palium, Gold, Flow‑Infused)
✨ Palium Ore
Where: Bahari Bay – caves, high cliffs, waterfall grottos. Best known spots: “Palium Cave” (north of lighthouse), behind the central waterfall, and the Ancient Ruins stairs.
Tool requirement: Iron Pickaxe (Mining Lv 5) or better.
Spawn mechanics: Respawns on daily reset (4:00 UTC) and also after ~2–4 hours real time if harvested. Higher chance at night (20:00–6:00 in‑game).
Farming tip: Server hopping (relogging) can put you in a fresh server with unharvested nodes. Join a party to cover more caves quickly.
⭐ Gold Ore
Where: Very rare – occasionally in Bahari Bay lava vents (south‑east) or as a rare drop from any mining node with a higher‑level pickaxe.
Tool requirement: Iron Pickaxe (Mining Lv 8+ recommended).
Best method: Mine all iron/palium nodes – gold can rarely replace them. Not reliably farmable; treat as a bonus.
🌿 Flow‑Infused Ore & Wood
Appearance: Purple‑glowing trees or rocks that spawn only at night (20:00–6:00 in‑game) in Bahari Bay (rarely Kilima).
Tool requirement: Trees require at least 2 players to chop; ore nodes can be mined solo but break faster with help.
Known locations: Near lighthouse (3 trees), behind waterfall grotto (2 trees), northern cliffs (1–2 ore nodes).
Tip: Call out in Bahari chat: “Flow tree at [location] – need help”. Many players will come.
🐟 Rare & Legendary Fish
🐉 Dragon Fish (Legendary)
Location: Deep pond inside Kilima Mines (north‑east corner of Kilima Valley).
Time: Any (extremely rare).
Bait: Glow Worm.
Technique: Use Palium Rod, max Focus, and the Fisherman’s Brew buff. Often takes 30+ casts. Respawns only after daily reset if caught.
👻 Spectral Fish (Epic)
Location: Small pool inside the outer courtyard of the Temple of Waves (Bahari Bay).
Time: 3:00 – 6:00 (pre‑dawn).
Bait: Glow Worm.
Note: Only spawns during that 3‑hour window. Mark your in‑game clock; it’s about 12 real minutes after the hour if you start at 3:00.
🌙 Midnight Carp (Rare)
Location: Bahari Central Lake (western edge, near small island).
Time: 0:00 – 3:00.
Bait: Glow Worm.
Tips: Party fishing increases spawn rate. Use glow worms and cast near the lily pads.
⛈️ Storm Eel (Rare)
Location: Bahari Coast (eastern beach).
Time: Any (rain only).
Bait: Worm.
Weather requirement: Must be raining in‑game. Check weather icon on map. Storm Eel is easiest to catch during autumn rainstorms.
🌱 Rare Seeds (Blueberry, Apple, etc.)
Blueberry Seeds
Purchase: From Badruu after reaching Gardening Level 8 (cost 25g each). Also sometimes available at Zeki’s Black Market.
Seed Maker: Place a Blueberry into a Seed Maker to produce 1–3 seeds (star quality yields more).
Wild source: Very rarely found as a forageable in Bahari bushes (summer).
Apple Tree Seeds (Sapling)
Purchase: From Badruu after Gardening Level 10 (cost 100g). Only one tree per plot initially? You can plant multiple.
Growth: Takes 72 real hours to mature, then produces apples every 3 days.
Seed Maker: An apple produces 1 Apple Sapling (cannot be replicated easily).
Gift: Apple Saplings can be given to Delaila as a loved gift.
Other Rare Seeds (e.g., Cotton, Rice)
Cotton and rice seeds are sold by Badruu once you reach Gardening levels 4 and 6 respectively. They cannot be foraged wild.
Tip: Always save star‑quality crops to put in Seed Maker – they give more seeds and sometimes a chance to produce star seeds.
💎 Gemstones (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire)
Gems are rare drops from mining any ore node (copper, iron, palium). No specific location; luck-based.
- Emerald: Can drop from copper nodes (slightly higher chance).
- Ruby: Rare drop from iron nodes.
- Sapphire: Extremely rare from palium nodes.
- Usefulness: Sell for high gold (300–2000g) or give as loved gifts (Zeki loves gems, Hodari likes any gem).
- Boost: Using an upgraded pickaxe (iron or palium) increases gem drop rate slightly.
